Digital Student Attendance: A Modern Way to Track Attendance at School

Digital student attendance replaces manual attendance books, which are easy to lose and hard to compile. The Student Attendance menu in ProgramSekolah makes it easy for teachers to record and monitor student attendance every day.

How to Record Student Attendance

1. The teacher opens the Student Attendance menu in the teacher portal
2. Select the class and date
3. Mark each student's status: Present, Sick, Excused, or Absent
4. Save — the data is stored on the server immediately
5. An automatic notification is sent to the parents of any absent student

Automatic Parent Notifications

One of the most important features: when a student is marked absent, the system automatically sends a WhatsApp notification to the parents. This helps prevent students from skipping school without their parents' knowledge.

Attendance Summaries & Reports

ProgramSekolah automatically generates attendance summaries per student, per class, and per month. These reports can be exported to Excel or PDF for administrative purposes and report cards.

Attendance Analytics

The Attendance Analytics menu under Reports displays attendance trend charts, students with low attendance, and comparisons across classes.
